server where all who are interested can view the contents of your web

Why do I need to pay for an ISP (like AOL,
Maui Net) when I have Aloha By Design hosting?
Hosting your web site will keep your site available for those people who
have access to the Internet. Hosting unfortunately does not provide for

Why do I get billed for hosting even though
I might not have a web site?
The space required for building your new web site is on the server. Your
new domain name needs to be hosted so we can put all the building blocks
into it. Imagine it as an apartment, and even though you may not be living
in it, you still need to rent the space so that furniture can be moved

Why is your hosting package so cheap?
Although it is a necessity for all sites to have hosting somewhere, we
feel that it is not necessary to charge any higher. If it is too cheap

Why are your servers in Seattle?
Many people on the islands know: the Internet is really slow sometimes.
During peak times, like roadways, the path can be bogged down with traffic.
In addition, many business owners know their largest client base is from
mainland customers. There is no reason to have your largest customer base
and your local customers be bogged down for any reason. Having servers
in Seattle is the logical idea. Seattle boasts the fastest load times
(even for Hawaii!), plus it is the growing Internet capital as Microsoft

Bandwidth is the size of the road that a user travels to get to your web
site. Compare low bandwidth as a dirt road to your web site and high bandwidth
as a multi-lane super highway to your site. Don't slow your potential
